Hi Everyone,

Here is a link to a time lapse video of my demo for the "Head & Figure Drawing" class.

This demo illustrates the concept of working from big to small and designing the image into 3~4 values so we can focus on the details only at key areas.

His ability to paint and design the figure/portraits into graphic compositions and the idea of painting by capturing color relationship rather than exact color was some of the most valuable things I have learned from his classes.

We are pleased to announce that the 2014-2015 CSATTF grant paper work have just been released on the Animation Union website:

Our good friend and master sculptor, Hiroshi Katagiri will be teaching a 3 Day Sculpting seminar at Spectral Motion Studio - one of the leading special effects/VFX houses whose credit includes such Hollywood blockbusters as “Pacific Rim” and “Hellboy”!

The participants for this seminar will also get to have a tour inside Spectral Motion studio!
