Ed Natividad's "Concept Design for Film Production" workshop is coming to at CDA on Saturday, July 30th~!!

This workshop focuses on the design of technology & vehicles for live action film productions.

Ed is one of top conceptual designers working in the industry today with past projects such as "Star Wars Episode 1 & 2", "Matrix Reloaded", "Transformers", “Tron Legacy”, “Total Recall”, “Oblivion”, "Edge of tomorrow”, "Man of Steel", "Batman vs Superman", and the upcoming films "Suicide Squad" and "Justice League".

Our Fall Semester is scheduled to start on Monday, Sept. 26th and ends on Sunday, Dec. 11th.

The public enrollment start date will be starting on Sept. 1st.

"From Concept to Storyboard" workshop with John Aoshima this Saturday (12/3)~!!!

Hi Everyone,

This Saturday, Dec. 3rd, John Aoshima will be coming to CDA to teach a workshop on "From Concept to Storyboard"~!!

John worked as the head of story for the development phase of "Kubo and the Two Strings". During this time, John and his story team storyboarded out the majority of the final film to help set the pacing and storytelling.

If you are an storyboard artist or someone who want to learn about the process in making a film during the storyboard phase, this is a great workshop not to be missed.

John is currently working as the director for the upcoming "Ducktales" reboot from Disney and his past projects include "Gravity Falls", "Futurama", "Avatar: The Last Airbender", and "The Simpsons".

Just a friendly reminder that this Saturday on Feb. 25th, our special guest, Aaron Beck will be teaching his "Iconic Science Fiction Design" workshop at CDA~!

Aaron is well known in the industry for his unique style and hyper realistic designs from his work as a concept designer at Weta Workshop.

His designs help developed and shaped the look of films such as "Elysium", "Mad Max: Fury Road", "Chappie", "The Hobbit", "Edge of Tomorrow", the short film, "KELOID" and more recently for the game, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare".

If you are a concept artist or someone who wishes to learn more about the creative process behind designing the look of a film or game, this is a great workshop not to be missed~!!
